1. Go plastic free,or use plant-based plastic
Plastics is a popular choice when it comes to packaging because it offers excellent durability. However, this material is normally petrol oil-based and not degradable. The good news is, we offer alternatives that are also durable and environmentally friendly. Paper and paperboard are some good choices.
We now also have biomass plastics which are degradable and harmless.
2. Use FSC Certified materials for packaging
We have helped numerous influential brands to take the leap into their sustainability mission in the field of packaging.
FSC is a non-profit organization that acts to promote the responsible management of the world’s forests.
Products with the FSC certification signify that the material has been sourced from responsibly managed plantations. Color-Full is a FSC-certified packaging manufacturer.
3. Try using environment-friendly lamination
Lamination has traditionally been the process where a thin layer of plastic film is applied to printed paper or cards.It prevents cracking on the spine of boxes and generally keeps print pristine!
We’re pleased to say that the market has shifted, and we can now offer you plastic-free laminating for your packaging products. It provides the same aesthetic appearance as traditional lamination but can be recycled.
4. POWERFUL OPERATION APPLICATION
In Color-Full, all paper stock, inventory, sampling, and production information are recorded in our operation system.
Our employees are trained to fully utilize resources in stock whenever possible.
This way we can minimize waste and increase efficiency significantly to get your product ready quickly.
5. USE PAPER TO SUBSTITUTE FOR TEXTILE
With 1.7 million tons of CO2 emitted annually, accounting for 10% of global greenhouse gas emissions, the textile industry is a major contributor to global warming. Our Scodix 3D technology can print textile patterns on paper and you won’t be able to tell the difference by eyes.
